Welcome to Day 2 of our chakra journey.
Today, we begin at the base with the Root Chakra, also known as Muladhara. The color of this grounding Chakra is red.
This chakra is all about feeling safe, grounded, and secure, both physically and emotionally. It’s our foundation, our anchor to the Earth, and it plays a big role in how we move through the world. When our Root Chakra is balanced, we feel stable, supported, and more at ease.
You might notice signs of imbalance when you’re feeling anxious, scattered brained, or disconnected from your body. It can show up as fear around money, housing, or health.
Some simple ways to connect with your Root Chakra:
Take a mindful walk barefoot on the earth; also known as Earthing.
Nourish your body with grounding foods like root vegetables or red fruits and vegetables.
Practice breathwork that centers on the lower belly. Breathing in through your nose while your belly fills with air. Exhale as your whole body relaxes.
Spend time in stillness or gentle movement like yoga or stretching. Adding the above breathing technique can help your body relax as you move your body
Tomorrow, we’ll move into the energy of the Sacral Chakra, where creativity and emotion live.
As always, if you’d like to explore deeper ways to balance your Root Chakra through bodywork, sound, or energetic healing, feel free to reach out to me.
With love and grounding,
Audrea
